Wildman Brewing Company Delivery Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

At Wildman Brewing Company, we take great care to ensure that your order is securely packaged and reaches you safely and in excellent condition.

This Delivery Policy explains how we process and deliver orders placed through the Wildman Brewing Company website, including what happens if your order is delayed, damaged, broken, missing or cannot be delivered.

By placing an order with Wildman Brewing Company, you agree to the terms of this Delivery Policy, together with our Website Terms & Conditions.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom where our delivery service is available.

Certain locations may be subject to additional delivery restrictions, longer delivery times or additional charges. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Remote or offshore locations;
  • Scottish Highlands and Islands;
  • Islands and other areas subject to courier restrictions;
  • Locations where our courier cannot provide a suitable service; and
  • Certain business premises, hotels, hospitals, student accommodation or other locations where the courier has difficulty completing an age-verified delivery.

If we are unable to deliver to your chosen address, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, offer an alternative delivery arrangement or refund your order.

2. Delivery Charges

Our delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the value of your order. The charge that applies to your order is shown in full before you complete your purchase.

Our current charges are:

  • United Kingdom, standard delivery: £5.00;
  • United Kingdom, free standard delivery on orders of £100.00 or more; and
  • United Kingdom, express delivery: £6.99.

Where free delivery applies to orders over a stated value, that value refers to the order total before any delivery charge is added.

We reserve the right to change our delivery charges from time to time. Any applicable delivery charge will be shown before payment is taken.

3. Processing Your Order

We aim to process orders as quickly as reasonably possible.

Orders are normally dispatched once payment has been successfully received and the order has passed any necessary checks.

Orders placed during weekends, bank holidays, public holidays, periods of exceptionally high demand or other unforeseen circumstances may take longer to process.

Where there is likely to be a significant delay in processing your order, we will endeavour to contact you.

4. Delivery Times

We aim to deliver orders within the estimated delivery timeframe shown at checkout or communicated to you when your order is placed.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date with you.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is generally dependent on the courier's network and operating conditions.

Delivery may occasionally be delayed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather;
  • Traffic disruption;
  • Vehicle or network problems;
  • Courier delays;
  • Industrial action;
  • Public holidays;
  • High volumes of parcels;
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
  • Events outside our reasonable control; or
  • Other unforeseen circumstances.

If your order is delayed, please contact us and we will do our best to assist and, where appropriate, investigate the delivery with the courier.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods have not been delivered within the period required by law or within any delivery period specifically agreed with you.

5. Tracking

Where a tracking service is available, we will provide tracking information or a tracking link where reasonably possible.

Please use the tracking information provided to monitor the progress of your delivery.

Tracking information may not update immediately after an order has been dispatched.

6. Delivery Address

It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order.

Please check your:

  • Name;
  • House or building number;
  • Street;
  • Town/city;
  • Postcode;
  • Contact telephone number; and
  • Any relevant delivery instructions.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays or failed deliveries resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you.

If you realise that you have entered an incorrect delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to amend the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.

Once an order has been dispatched, we may be unable to change the delivery address.

7. Safe and Successful Delivery

Please ensure that somebody is available to receive your order where required.

Our delivery service may require a signature, age verification or other confirmation before alcohol can be handed over.

We do not recommend asking for alcohol to be left in an unattended, insecure or unsuitable location.

Where the courier's service permits a safe place or delivery instruction, this does not override any age-verification or other legal requirements applicable to the delivery of alcohol.

8. Age Verification

Wildman Brewing Company sells alcohol and therefore operates appropriate age-verification procedures.

You must be 18 or over to purchase alcohol from us.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over.

We may carry out age verification during the ordering process and/or at the point of delivery where required or considered appropriate.

The person receiving the alcohol may be required to provide valid photographic identification showing their date of birth.

We reserve the right to refuse or prevent delivery where:

  • The recipient is under 18;
  • The recipient cannot provide satisfactory proof of age where requested;
  • We have reasonable grounds to believe that the alcohol is being purchased for or on behalf of someone under 18;
  • We have reasonable grounds to believe that the recipient is intoxicated; or
  • Delivery would otherwise breach applicable licensing or other legal requirements.

Where delivery is refused because the required age verification cannot be completed, the order may be returned to us.

Any refund in these circumstances will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer and licensing law. Where we incur reasonable additional costs as a result of a failed delivery caused by the customer's actions, we reserve the right to recover such costs where legally permitted.

9. Failed Delivery

A delivery may fail for a number of reasons, including:

  • Nobody being available to receive the order;
  • The recipient being unable to provide required identification;
  • The recipient being under 18;
  • The recipient refusing to accept the order;
  • An incorrect or incomplete address;
  • The property being inaccessible;
  • The courier being unable to safely complete the delivery; or
  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

The courier may attempt delivery again, leave instructions for rearranging delivery, or return the order to us, depending on the courier's procedures.

If an order is returned to us because delivery could not be completed, we will contact you where reasonably possible to discuss the available options.

Additional delivery or re-delivery charges may apply where a failed delivery has occurred because of information or circumstances for which you are responsible, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Damaged or Broken Bottles

We take considerable care when packing bottles for delivery. However, because our products are glass bottles containing liquid, breakage or damage can occasionally occur during transit.

If your order arrives damaged or a bottle is broken, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where possible, please:

  1. Take photographs of the outer packaging before disposing of it;
  2. Take photographs of the damaged or broken bottle(s);
  3. Take photographs of any damage to the packaging;
  4. Keep the damaged packaging and contents until we advise you otherwise; and
  5. Contact us with your order number and details of the damage.

Please do not handle broken glass unnecessarily.

We may ask you to provide photographs or other information so that we can investigate the problem with our delivery provider.

Where an item has been damaged in transit, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights.

You will not be expected to return broken glass where doing so would be unsafe. We will advise you if we require any other part of the shipment to be retained.

11. If Your Order Arrives Damaged but the Bottle Has Not Broken

If the packaging or product appears damaged when delivered, please notify us as soon as possible.

Please photograph the packaging and the product before opening or disposing of anything where it is safe to do so.

If the product itself has been damaged, is leaking, is faulty or is otherwise not in the condition you reasonably expected, please contact us so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.

12. Missing Items

If your parcel arrives but one or more items are missing, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • Details of the missing product(s);
  • Photographs of the packaging where possible; and
  • Any other information we reasonably request to investigate the issue.

We will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, arrange for the missing item to be sent to you or provide another appropriate remedy.

13. Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that you did not order, please contact us before using or opening the product.

We will arrange an appropriate resolution.

If we have made an error with your order, we will work with you to correct it as quickly as reasonably possible.

14. Orders Showing as Delivered but Not Received

If the courier's tracking information states that your order has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact us as soon as possible.

Before contacting us, please check:

  • Whether another member of your household has accepted the delivery;
  • Whether the parcel has been left in a location permitted by the delivery service;
  • Whether it has been received by a neighbour;
  • Any delivery card or notification left by the courier; and
  • The tracking information provided.

If the parcel still cannot be located, please contact us and we will investigate the matter with the delivery provider.

We will consider each case individually and will take appropriate action in accordance with applicable consumer law.

15. Delivery Delays and Lost Parcels

If your order appears to have been delayed or lost in transit, please contact us.

We may need to allow the courier a reasonable period to investigate the parcel before determining that it has been lost.

Where an order is confirmed as lost, or where we are otherwise required to provide a remedy under applicable law, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund.

We will not simply refer you to the courier where the issue is our responsibility as the retailer.

16. Refusal of Delivery

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel delivery where necessary to comply with:

  • Licensing legislation;
  • Age-verification requirements;
  • Our responsible retailing obligations;
  • Courier requirements;
  • Fraud prevention measures;
  • Payment-security requirements; or
  • Other applicable laws and regulations.

If we refuse an order before it has been dispatched, we will normally arrange a refund of any payment taken, subject to any lawful deductions or other applicable circumstances.

17. Returns and Cancellation Rights

Nothing in this Delivery Policy is intended to limit or exclude your statutory rights.

For online purchases, consumers may have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, subject to applicable exceptions.

Where a customer has a statutory right to cancel an order, we will process the cancellation and refund in accordance with applicable law.

Certain products or circumstances may be exempt from cancellation rights where permitted by law.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

If your order has already been dispatched, we may not be able to stop the delivery immediately. In such circumstances, we will explain the available options.

18. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet the standards required by law, you may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.

We will deal with such claims in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable consumer protection legislation.

Our delivery policy does not replace or reduce those rights.

19. Delivery Problems Caused by Customer Information

Where a delivery problem has been caused by information supplied incorrectly by the customer, including an incorrect address, incomplete address or failure to provide required delivery information, we will make reasonable efforts to assist.

Where the order needs to be re-dispatched because of such an error, additional delivery charges may apply where legally permitted and where we have informed you of those charges.

We will not apply charges that are prohibited by consumer protection law.

20. Gifts and Deliveries to Another Person

You may be able to purchase products as a gift for another person.

However, the recipient must satisfy all applicable age-verification and delivery requirements.

The person who placed the order being over 18 does not mean that an under-18 recipient can receive the alcohol.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery if the recipient cannot satisfy our age-verification requirements.

21. Delivery to Businesses, Hotels and Other Premises

Where delivery is requested to a business, hotel, workplace or other commercial or shared premises, the customer is responsible for providing sufficient delivery information to allow the courier to identify the intended recipient.

The recipient must still satisfy any applicable age-verification requirements.

We cannot guarantee that a particular individual will receive the order where deliveries are made to reception desks, mail rooms, concierge services or other communal areas.

22. Unforeseen Events

We will not be responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These may include, without limitation:

  • Extreme weather;
  • Flooding;
  • Fire;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Road closures;
  • Serious transport disruption;
  • Industrial disputes;
  • Courier network disruption;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Public health emergencies;
  • Acts of terrorism;
  • Civil disorder; or
  • Other events that could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented.

Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where appropriate.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

We may update this Delivery Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our business, delivery arrangements, courier services or applicable legal requirements.

The latest version will always be published on our website.

The date shown at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently updated.

25. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Delivery Policy excludes, restricts or limits any rights or remedies that you have under applicable UK consumer protection or other legislation where it would be unlawful for us to do so.

If any provision of this policy is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be treated as amended or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue to apply.
